CATCount is an extremely useful software tool for translation industry professionals. It greatly eases task of accounting of Computer Assisted Translation jobs.
CATCount converts the number of repetitions, 100%, fuzzies and no matches into a single weighted number taking into account your discount grid(s). Additionally, it provides great features for printing and export of used CAT Scheme together with original word counts, and resulting CATCount. Word count analysis logs of Trados Translator's Workbench are processed automatically.
Because while regular distribution of word count information distinct categories by CAT Tools (Trados, SDLX, Deja Vu, Star Transit) is useful for analysis in general, it is not very comfortable for accounting. CATCount takes the solution to the problem to the next level by providing easy interface, which can be shared between translation agencies and freelance translators, and within translator teams.

SuperCAT – Conversion and CAT Tool Specialist
SuperCAT has been an official Trados, Transit and CopyFlow trainer and he has been in charge of the official Trados technical support in Spain and Portugal for five years. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to give many Trados training courses, not only to freelancers but also to large companies and institutions. These courses have allowed him to become intimately acquainted with all aspects of the translation tools and formats. In addition to this, he is a professional translator: these last 15 years, he has worked as a member of a team of 20 translators, as a freelancer, as a DTP expert, as a technical writer, as a project manager and finally, today, he manages several translation companies on three continents. But, actually, he likes to define himself as a conversion and CAT tool specialist. He spends most of his time trying new software that could be of some help to speed up the translation processes, to improve quality and to boost productivity.
